Spiritually awakened people can remember their past lives, develop “clairs“ (shown below), see the past and future, become telepathic, and unlock many more human spiritual abilities that had been veiled since their birth and through cultural conditioning about what is real and what isn’t. Shifu Douglas (Master Teacher) will talk about paranormal subjects mentioned in the ancient Buddhist sutras and also address the question: Why do some people have so-called paranormal abilities and experiences when others don’t?
Spiritual tools and practices are available that can help one to open their higher awareness and see everything for themselves. Shifu Douglas will share experiences and stories from his time living and traveling with a fully enlightened Chinese Buddhist master, as well as teaching and practicing ancient secret meditations, healing, and spiritual practices for over 20 years.
Shifu Douglas will guide you through three ancient Hanmi esoteric meditation practices involving visualization, Sanskrit mantras and hand mudras (gestures). These take people into a high spiritual state and increase one’s inner light greatly. Some people have reported out-of-body experiences, communication with deceased loved ones, seeing past lives, experienced themselves as pure light, or had other profound spiritual experiences during these meditations. If you practice one of the meditations you learn for two weeks you will likely feel transformation taking place. If you practice one of them for 100 days you will not be the same person.
Food and drink purification techniques will be demonstrated and may amaze you. These use mantra and visualizations that purify and energize food and drink, as well as enhance their flavor. Anyone can learn to quickly and easily transform their food and drink.
Audience participants will also receive spiritual healing for any problem or condition, empowered by this 2500+ year old lineage of enlightened masters.
The Chinese Esoteric School lineage’s publicly available practices can take a practitioner to awakening in this lifetime. It almost goes without saying that an accomplished master can bring light to all of humanity. Those who enhance their awareness and accomplish self-transformation will truly be able to help themselves and others, making important contributions during this challenging and transformational period in human history.

Shifu is a Chinese title meaning “skilled person”, “teacher”, or “master”. As a Vajracharya, Buddhist Master Teacher, Shifu Douglas has taught practices of the Hanmi lineage, a Chinese Esoteric School, for more than 20 years. These practices chiefly include spiritual awakening, self-healing, and healing of others. Shifu Douglas offers daily online meditations for both public and students.
The Hanmi Buddhism lineage is an unbroken lineage of awakened masters spanning over 2,500 years and includes Shakyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. In China, this Buddhist Lineage absorbed the wisdom and healing practices of Taoism and Confucianism.

Shifu Douglas periodically presents talks, teaches workshops, performs Dharma Rites (a Buddhist ritual mantra chanting/prayer ceremony where a group of esoteric practitioners gathers together and prays for a common goal) in the Boulder/Denver area. He has presented and taught in numerous countries including China, India, Nepal, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United States.
Shifu Douglas apprenticed with MahaVairocana Dharma King Living Buddha Dechan Jueren, (Master Yu TianJian) the 49th lineage holder of the Chinese Esoteric School. Shifu Douglas has received many teachings, Abhishekas (a Sanskrit word meaning “sprinkling” or “wetting,” and refers to ancient consecration and empowerment ceremonies using the ritual of pouring water or other sacred substances onto a person or a statue of a deity while also chanting mantras) and empowerments including the Five Buddha Crown Empowerment (empowerment of the five Celestial Buddhas) The Mark of the Bodhi (signifying one whose thoughts, words, and deeds are devoted to helping all sentient beings attain liberation), and the Completion Abhisheka (signifying receipt of advanced teachings and empowerments preparing one to teach).
He lived and traveled with his master, Living Buddha Dechan Jueren, in China and the United States. In 2012 Shifu Douglas returned to the U.S. after 8 years in China. Since that time, he has taught meditation and spiritual healing in the U.S. and abroad.
