Doug Good Feather is a member of the Lakota Nation was born and grew up on the Standing Rock Reservation in South Dakota until the age of 21. He and his Native American wife now live in the metro Denver suburbs and still visits his home reservation a number of times each year to honor his
family and tribal ties. He is of the Sitting Bull Band. Learn the ways of the Lakota people from source and discover a different world from a different

Doug, Wiyáka Wasté (Good Feather) of Standing Rock Indian Reservation (home of Sitting Bull) is a Lakota speaker, Spiritual man, Iraq War Veteran (2 tours), Stage and Screen Actor, International Cultural Ambassador, Grammy Award Winning Lakota Singer, Pow Wow Fancy Dancer, Father, Sun Dancer and has a Psychology and Counseling degree. He’s spoken at Mile High Church, opened for acts at Red Rocks Amphitheater on multiple occasions in addition to many other public venues.
Doug is founder and Executive Director for the “Lakota Way Healing Center”, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with trauma, addictions, homelessness, illness and PTSD to re-balance themselves through indigenous Native American spirituality. Doug visits prisons to help those who have lost their way, trying to find their path again, also spends time with the dying to assist in their journey to the next world and others needing guidance and assistance in their most difficult times.
He will share about their connections and relationships with nature and the spirit world, human origins as understood by the indigenous culture, our star ancestors, Native American philosophies, our purpose on this earth and more. Doug will also cover Native American traditions, tribal structural structures, stories and prophecies from Sitting Bull and other ancestors.
Sitting Bull was the first man to become chief of the entire Lakota Sioux nation.
