…Colorado Haunted History
Joel Chirhart
Paranormal Researcher l Investigator
Tour Guide l Historian
It’s the time of year when we give a little more thought to spiritual matters in a different light. We know so little about the worlds beyond our mainstream and religious teachings regarding how our time on earth truly works. As in all matters, certain individuals excel in their ability to grasp this complex reality as it truly is. How life and death for human existence on our planet really functions certainly falls into that category. Written historic records provide us with a good deal of limited insight into how these matters work.
Our Wednesday evening’s presenter has spent a great deal of time assembling data from two Colorado towns to share from a certain historical perspective that I‘m sure you’ll find thought-provoking.

For more than 20-years Joel Chirhart has been researching and sharing the interesting history of the darker side of the towns of Golden and Morrison, Colorado. He has been operating the “Ghosts and Legends” tour for two decades and his in-depth research has made him the world’s most knowledgeable resource on such ghostly matters in these two historic Colorado communities. For those attending this PRF presentation, it’s certain, you’ll never look at these towns the same again. Historic backgrounds provide a richer understanding of communities.
His award-winning tours and stories have been featured in numerous newspaper articles (Westword, Denver Post, Canyon Courier, Golden Transcript). He has also been featured in books including “Weird Colorado,” has spoken on the Peter Boyles radio show, and recently participated in an episode of Travel Channel’s “The Dead Files” among other venues.
Details about their tours are itemized on their website at https://coloradohauntedhistory.com/ and can be e-mailed at Tours@ColoradoHauntedHistory.
Hear tales of the “Wild, wild west” that these towns once contained. These stories include lynchings, shootouts, murder, and mayhem. See the park named after an innocent man hanged by a mob, and the location where Golden’s ‘Night of Terror’ took place. These truly could be one of the most haunted towns in America. You’ll never see these towns in the same light again.
