For millennia, human history has been rich with stories of miraculous events—wonders both great and small. From healing incurable illnesses to raising the dead, controlling nature, foretelling the future, and performing seemingly impossible feats, miracles have long been seen as interruptions of the natural order, pointing to the presence of a higher or supernatural power. Across cultures in history, these phenomena were attributed to shamans, oracles, witches, sacred places and objects, benevolent spirits, miracle workers, saints, prophets, mythological beings, and gods. While such events continue to be reported even today, many feel we no longer live in an “age of miracles” and generally that most people have no ability to create or influence the manifestation of miracles. But is that really true?…..
In this compelling talk, Gabriel presents intriguing historical accounts of miracles from a wide range of cultures and traditions throughout history—including Shamanism, Spiritualism
Following these stories, Gabriel will explore key questions:
• What are miracles, and how do they relate to psi phenomena and consciousness research?
• How might miracles work?
• What practices or attributes seem to invite them into our lives—and can anyone learn to “cultivate” them?
We’ll examine what science can (or can’t) tell us about miracles, and why they seem so rare. Special attention will be given to miraculous healing: how it happens, the role of the healer, and why not all healers seem to access this ability. We’ll also explore the nature of manifesting different kinds of miracles in areas such as healing, financial abundance, relationships, etc., and ask:
• Can we create miracles, or do we simply elicit them?
• What conditions allow them to occur or associate with them
• How can we align ourselves, our energy, and the condition in order to better receive and manifest them?
Drawing from his own work as a professional intuitive, channel, psychic medium, and healer, Gabriel will share personal experiences and insights into the mystery of miracles—and what they might mean for us today and how we can use this knowledge to better our lives and our world.
